Great so far.  No better or worse than a gas lawn mower.  But the lack of significant noise is a bonus.  Being able to fold it up and put it next to the wall in garage is the best feature!  Starts up without fail.  I love that it can drive itself (self-propelled) without the mower blades on.

This is something new to get used to but I'm tired of the gas mower so I'm using this is about time you figured out the power requirements maybe it can be a little bit more time

It's good and it works for me

This is a great mower. It is easy to use and runs so quietly
 It mulches the grass really good. The batteries are easy to charge and last a long time while mowing my lawn. It is a good looking mower also and has a good warranty.  I love it.

Great performing mower

Easy starting, easy operation of controls, plug in a battery and go.  No mess, no fuss, no smell, just push the button, pull the handle, adjust the throttle and enjoy the quiet as you cut a 21" swath.   You can even mow before sunup with the dual headlights.  EGO really put a lot of thought into this machine.

Life just got a little easier!

I bought it last month. I was very apprehensive about it because my lot is 3/4 acre. But it cuts great. Also I am 5 ft & weigh 127 lbs , yet I can easily push it up the hill. The battery charges super fast . Would recommend it to all.

Love it!

No more gas & oil. All I have to do is charge the battery & push the button to start. It only take me 40 minutes to mow my yard so this is the perfect mower for me. It's also very light & easy to maneuver & folds up nice for storage too. All of my neighbors have been asking about this mower since I purchased it too.

I love my new mower!

I love this mower so far! It's much quieter than a gas mower and works really well. The batteries also seem to last a long time, but we do have a smaller yard. Already mowed twice and still have battery life left. It's made my yard look great and is a great option for your first lawn mower!

Ego Power+ Self-Propelled Electic Lawn Motor

I've had an EGO blower for about two years and love it. So, when we needed a new mower, I was anxious to check out the EGO mower. I like that the batteries are interchangeable. The mower has every bit as much cutting power as a gas mower. And, the battery has plenty of charge to mow a decent sized lawn. The height adjustment is convenient and easy. We purchased the push mower as opposed to the self propelled mower. It's light but sturdy and is easy to push. So far it's everything I had hoped it would be. I'm very pleased with the purchase, and feel confident it will last because it comes with a five-year warranty.

Just What I wanted

I love my new EGO mower. My gas mower was getting old and it was time to replace it. I had new sod put in so I figured the new sod needed a new lawn mower. I've had my EGO mower about 3 weeks. Have been mowing twice per week. The EGO is light, compact, and as powerful as my old gas mower. It sliced through my first cut of the season without even bogging down. I can mow my front, side, back and alley sections of grass twice on one charge. I've been cutting my grass in the evenings and when it starts getting dark, I get to turn on the " headlights" to help me see better. They actually help. Who would have thought headlights on a lawn mower could be used? The included bag holds a lot of clippings and is easy to empty. The battery charges fast. When all is finished, I blow it off with my new EGO blower, fold up the handle and put it away. No smell of gas lingering in my shed, or on me after. If you are thinking about going electric, go with this EGO, or the self-propelled one. You will be pleasantly satisfied. Oh, and now you can mow at any time without bothering your neighbors. :-)Example: I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did...

Glad I chose EGO

I have the older version of the self propelled 21". Older meaning the forward is a single lever on the right side.  Very un intuitive to have a throttle in this orientation.  Tells you about the engineer team they had.  My big complaint is the wheels fluctuate in height to much.  Not enough suction to lift the grass that's been mushed down by the heavy narrow front wheels.  I say the psi load is to high.   The 1 lever height adjustment is a good idea but the connecting rod is to flimsy and with all the play in it's contact points the mower can bounce.   It is the worst cutting mower as far as height goes ever.   I even bought a higher auction blade
  Perhaps the new model with the twin blades sucks better but it has the same flimsy height system.  The battery has done fine for 2 years.  I have a small 2500 SQ ft yard of KBG. I can mow in 25 mins.  1 -3/4 full bag.  The battery can easily last 2 mowings.  I only got the low battery 1 time and maybe I was going for 3 times. One other negative is is sometimes won't let you pull it backwards.  I talked to another owner of the newer model and he complained about the same thing.    Perhaps my tire bars are bent so my height isn't the same in all 4 wheels.  I'm a design engineer so I think it's a flimsy bar and design.  I've read that pushing down in the handle can raise the front and you lose suction.  I've mowed with that 8n mind and no change.   One in awhile I leave a stream of cut grass in a line.   The opening is not blocked and the bag isn't full.  The light is nice used it one late night.   It folds up nice and no worry about leaking gas or oil.
