I live in a large studio and this AC 8,000 BTU is just the rest size, I use the energy saver button. My neighbor set it up for me in about 10 minutes. I can either use the remote or use it manually, I like manually, getting off the sofa and walk over it too.. it cane just in time  for our heat wave!  Thank goodness for cool air.

Great Air Conditioner

It's a big boy first and foremost. It took some wiggling but I got it to fit. First you have to mount the outer shell then slide the inner AC inside it. It cools my room in less than 20 minutes(It's 100 outside these days)  It's quiet and does it's job to keep me cool this summer. 
P.S. my original AC was a 6000BTU unit.

Does what it's made to do.

Arrived quickly, and was exactly what I ordered… actually the second one I ordered because I like the first one so much… Only one problem is it has a scrape and a dent on it even though the box had no damage upon delivery… Please advise

After 4+ years, I finally have an air-conditioned shop.  I framed out an opening in my metal shop building with 2.5"x 2.5" square metal tube (same as the structure), to install this "window" unit into.  The sleeve makes it easy to intall in a through-wall configuration.  Shop is 1,050 sf, with only 1" foam insulation under the metal wall & roof panels.  The 24,500 BTU unit is rated for around 1600 sf.  Running the unit in Eco mode, it has been doing a great job keeping my shop cool in the 95° South Carolina heat and blistering sunshine beating on the metal wall & roof panels.  Hoping this A/C unit lasts me for quite a few years - we shall see.

Great Buy, l had a LG 6000 btu that ran great for 9 years. It still runs just alittle more noise than news so l figured to go with LG again this time the LG 10,000 model 1016ER . Glad l did it's very quiet and cools the room and a nice size living room too!. Old one only the room it was in. Would recommend to anyone .

I bought this particular unit because I had a specific hole in the wall I needed to fit an a/c in and this seemed closest to the size (which was actually difficult to find in a/c units as most run a few inches larger.) So the good news is that it fit. The bad news is that it is too loud for my liking. I can’t hear anything outside my bedroom even if the door is open when this unit is blowing.

This AC is amazing at cooling our house down for such an amazing price so when it comes to cooling its 100% worth buying i highly suggest it! When you put it together you have to build the case before you slide the AC itself in-- it confused us who have only had smaller units before going to this big one but it is absolutely worth it! It fit well into our windowframe of iur house which was built in early 1900, and even with the leaks of such an old home it outdoes itself quickly! We dont like the energy saving mode being the first mode it comes on even if youve had it on cool or another setting previously,  but its something so minor its unimportant.  When we got the package, it came with a good size hole in it(as pictured) and once we took it out you can see it definitely damaged the AC unit, but my 3 options were 2/3 to send it back or gets a 10% refund but sending it back and having NO AC for our animals or children was NOT doable for the weather we were fixing to have unfortunately so i couldnt replace it either. It works still so not any major harm done, but that also was $700 out of pocket to get something damaged which kind of sucks, but it is what it is and you really cannot get 24btu cheaper than this.

Works wonderful, but came damaged in transport.

My ac conditioner was delivered with one side slightly bent making it hard for me to slide the left curtain panel on. It also rattles when i first turnt the unit on so I'm not sure if it was damaged during transit or in the warehouse before it got delivered to me.

I ordered this in April it didn't get installed until June and by November it has started rusting the outside frame and fan coils.
